Todd Johnson’s RV-10 | Tomball, TX RV-10 #41968

Todd wrote in to let us know that he has completed his RV-10! He writes:

The first flight for N92TJ took place May 29, 2025 after a 6 ½ year build. I decided to build a plane so my wife and I could go on trips and cross things off our bucket list on our own schedule. I’m grateful to my wife and family, the local EAA302, and my friends for their unwavering support, especially my mentor, Joe Waltz, and advisor, Richard Jankowski. I’ve had several friends and family members that used their different talents to help get through some of the challenges that sometimes stalled my progress. I’m proud of this accomplishment and so happy to have completed the build.

Van’s makes a great plane. Remember to do something every day and keep riveting.

And a special shout out to my sister, Angie, who turned out to be a modern-day Rosie the Riveter and fearlessly held the light still (most of the time.
