Thaddeus Bettner’s RV-10 | Chico CA RV-10 #42159

Cheers to Thaddeus for conquering the skies in his RV-10! Here’s to many more flights ahead. He writes:

An amazing aircraft to build and fly. First flight went perfectly and I was the pilot!!! Thanks so much to my family for patiently enduring this project, my son Gabe who helped buck and rivet the 10,000+ rivets, Richard Dilbeck who did the inspection, Van’s Staff for orders and Tech Help, VAN’S Airforce, and Mike Seager who helped me with flight training and check out in the Van’s RV-10 so I knew what to experience flying this bird. I’ve got 15 hours so far and am going through the EAA Flight Test Manual. I still pinch myself that I built this and now get to fly it. Grins galore and always a conversation to be had in the aviation community.
