Matt Van Eck wrote in to tell us about the first flight of his new RV-10!

The idea of building an airplane has always been a dream since I was a young kid. I began the Standard Built project in November of 2019 and spent 2 years and 8 months riveting, wiring, and painting. (Something was needed during 2020 to fill my aviation passion!)

The first flight was as non-eventful as hoped. Although I have over 10,000 hours of flight time, the transition training was very helpful and well worth my time, thanks again Zack!
