Guy Ingersoll’s RV-8 | Canyon Lake, TX RV-8 #84182

Guy Ingersoll’s RV-8 flew for the first time. Here’s more:

I spent three years and 1,700 hours building my RV-8. My first flight went well, flying around the airfield. I did a couple of stalls to find the Vs0 and Vs1 and practiced my landing procedure at 3000 AGL. Les Bourne was my EAA Flight Advisor and he recorded the engine data and talked me through everything. Bryan Jones of Flight Check Solutions provided superior transition training 1 month earlier. I’m looking forward to many more flights in my RV-8. Thanks to my wife Jill for all her support. Thanks Matt and Jim Humes for giving me space in your hangar to assemble my RV-8.
