Bill Markey’s RV-4 flew for the first time. Here’s more on his long journey:

Kit number 4434 has finally made it into the air, after 23 years, one interstate move, six different jobs (including my own business), and nearly 10 years parked up under a sheet while I dealt with family priorities.

In the first flight, the plane had a slight heavy left wing and will require a small amount of right rudder at full power, as is normal.

My plane includes: YO-320 D2G, Whirlwind GA200L ground adjustable prop, Dynon avionics, manual trim, and manual flaps.
