Philippe Heer’s RV-14 is now among the flying! Philippe tells the story:

What a super day it was here at the West Houston Airport (KIWS). After five years and four months on my first build, a perfect flight without issues is in the books. My builder’s log shows 610 days of building that translates to some 2,700 hours of labor of love. A huge thank you to my wife Esmeralda who not only helped during the build with riveting and other tasks but who supported me mentally during the up and downs of this project. Older son Patrick (pictured) also provided a helping hand throughout the build. On a side note: The registration number N90EP stands for: “N” (U.S. registration), “90” year we got married (35 years WOW!), “E” for Esmeralda, and “P” for Philippe.
