A Pearson and D Crocker’s RV-12iS | Somerset, UK RV-12iS #121170
Congrats to A Pearson and D Crocker on their new RV-12iS, they write:
First flight was on a hot summer day from a small grass airfield. I have very little experience on type, so another RV-12 owner agreed to be my test pilot. After landing he reported that the aircraft handled well with just a couple of issues: the stall warner sounded at too high a speed, and the cruise speed was slower than expected. I subsequently adjusted the angle of the stall warner vane and coarsened the prop pitch from the recommended 71.1 degrees to 70.3 degrees. This improved the cruise speed and still gave good climb performance. After further flight testing, G-ESHR was awarded a Permit to Fly by the CAA on 20 August 2025.
