Service Bulletin 141 notifies owners of RV-12iS SLSA models, serial numbers 12225-12244, inclusive, to inspect and revise cabin illumination wiring where it comes through the canopy.
Because these aircraft are, at the time of SB-00141 posting, still under warranty, we ask that owners contact Van’s at their earliest convenience to receive the needed parts free of charge. Aircraft in production when this Service Bulletin is published will have this change made at the factory.
The parts kit will also be available at the Van’s webstore in case replacements are needed.
