Changes related to new bushing parts for oil door hinges

  REASON FOR REVISION:

  The hole in the two oil door hinge brackets can become worn due to the metal to metal contact from the bolt and the brackets. To prevent this, a plastic bushing is being introduced to extend useful life of the brackets.

  REVISION DESCRIPTION / NEW DOCUMENTATION:

  • RV-12 KAI Page 38-08 REV 1: Added bushing for oil door hinge. Removed AN310-3, AN3-4, and cotter pin. Replaced with MS21042-3 and AN3-4A.
  • RV-12 KAI Page 38-09 REV 3: Added bushing for oil door hinge. Removed AN310-3, AN3-4, and cotter pin. Replaced with MS21042-3 and AN3-4A.
