Legacy RVs
The RV-3, RV-4, and RV-6/6A may no longer be in production, but thousands are still flying strong. Van’s continues to support legacy builders with parts, plans, and technical resources. Tell us about your aircraft and we’ll help you keep it in the air.
Sometimes it takes a Village
One of the more exciting aspects of building an RV is experiencing the vast community of builders and their enthusiasm for helping others. We encourage you to check in and visit with the many people who are already building or flying RVs. Builders often band together to provide mutual assistance in building and flying their aircraft.
Many of these groups are highly-organized and some have regular meetings, newsletters, shared tool banks, and fly-in events. Van’s Aircraft has found builders’ groups to be invaluable for both new builders and the community as a whole, and we encourage these groups by serving as a clearinghouse for contact information and to help put people in touch.
